Adel Abdel-Sadek is Director of The Arab Center for Cyberspace Research-ACCR (www.accronline.com) and an Expert at Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies, heading the Digital Society Studies program. 

His interests include Cyber politics, Digital democracy, Cyber terrorism, cyber security , Digital economy and digital taxation, Digital health ,The cyber weapon in international law, non-traditional security , internet governance, the fourth industrial revolution and Metaverse.

Adel has received many prizes, including that for the best Arab cultural project for 2011 and the prize of His Highness Sheikh Salem Al Ali Al Sabah for Informatics in Kuwait in March 2012 for a project of the Arab Center for Cyberspace Research. He also got the book prize of the Republic (Egypt) in communication and information technology for his study “Digital democracy and the political role of the Internet in the Arab world in May 2010”. He has published many articles, studies and books on topics of his field.

Adel has a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Economic and Political Science, Cairo University (The Impact of Cyber terrorism on the use of power in international relation, 2009) and a PHD in Political Science (The impacts of Cyberspace in changing  international relation: study on theory and practice, 2014).
