Rowan Liu

Rowan Liu is a 2026 candidate for the Master of Arts in International Relations (MAIR) at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University, where she also earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and East Asian Studies. As a long-time lover of stories and a “big-picture” person, Rowan wants to continue in the work of diplomacy and politics, connecting people together across divides. She is currently interning with the Foundation for Global Governance and Sustainability (FOGGS) researching the role of middle powers in today’s global governance.
