Ioanna Sakketa, MSc, is Strategic Development & Partnerships Advisor at the Foundation for Global Governance and Sustainability (FOGGS). With over 20 years of experience across the private and nonprofit sectors, she brings a unique blend of strategic, fundraising, and marketing expertise. Ioanna has held senior leadership roles in multinational companies and has led development and fundraising operations at organizations including Greenpeace and Shedia (local Big Issue). She is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of sparta.komvos, a non-profit combining global thinking with local action in the fields of culture, continuous education, sustainability and social inclusion in the area of Sparta and the broader Peloponnese Region of Greece.
Ioanna holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communication, as well as a Diploma in Negotiations, from the Athens University of Economics and Business. She also recently completed a Professional Diploma in Sustainability and ESG Management, with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility. Her work focuses on designing cross-sector partnerships, scaling impact-driven initiatives, and fostering sustainable development through engagement, visibility, and collaboration.
