UN CHARTER AT 80: A CALL TO RECLAIM ITS PURPOSE

In response to mounting concerns on the state of our world, multilateralism and the UN, a Call has been prepared on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the UN Charter, calling for a return to the Charter’s purpose. 

Below is the text of the Call and the list of signatories, including former UN system officials, members of the Club de Madrid, other VIPs and members of the public. 

For new signatures by former UN system officials, use this signature form till UN Day, 24 October 2025. For the broader public, please sign here. The signature collection will continue till UN Day, 24 October 2025.
