Péter Kakucska is a dual national Australian-Hungarian that has spent most of his professional career working for non-profit organisations, most of which was at the United Nations.

Péter came to FOGGS after holding senior management engagements with European-based associations. Péter was responsible for developing business opportunities and relationships with the aim to drive revenue. During his tenure at the climate change secretariat, Peter worked in several departments of the organisation and thus developed a deep and broad understanding of intergovernmental processes, climate change and sustainable solutions.

Péter played a key role in planning and management of the Paris Agreement negotiations, where he worked in the strategic implementation unit, closely with government representatives and decision makers in the coordination of the delivery of the agreement. Péter later worked in developing engagement and outreach opportunities with the climate change community. Péter also developed administration directives on organizational development issues serving on various committees and boards whilst at the climate change secretariat.

Péter worked for a European royal family where he was responsible for administering protocol duties and human resource management of the house.
