Mohammad Taher Gholi Tabar holds an M.A. in Islamic Sciences Teaching, majoring in Theoretical Principles of Islam from the University of Islamic Sciences in Iran. In addition, he is a graduate of the Islamic Seminary of Qom. He is now a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Studies of Religions at the University of Religions and Denominations (URD), Iran.
Professor Gholi Tabar teaches regularly in various forums and universities in Iran and also in Europe. He is the Director of the Office of European and American Affairs at URD and is highly engaged in interfaith activities worldwide.
His publications include papers on inter-religious dialogue, religious tourism, and co-existence. He speaks Persian and English, and is active in interfaith programs and peacemaking activities.
