Dominikos K. Chrysidis

Executive Board Member

Dominikos K. Chrysidis is an international cooperation professional, with long experience in EU development policies, design and management of technical assistance, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation and public diplomacy projects in the broad sectors of governance, social policy and sustainable development. He has coordinated multi-country programmes on monitoring and evaluation training, policy and project advising to public administrations, notably in the EU Enlargement and Neighbourhood regions, worldwide evaluation assignments on climate and environmental diplomacy, and driving media and visibility activities.

Prior to becoming an Executive Board Member in January 2021, Dominikos was a Policy and Advocacy Advisor at FOGGS since January 2018. He managed the Foundation’s advocacy and stakeholder engagement activities, supported the management and monitoring of FOGGS’ initiatives and policy research work in global governance and global sustainability. He also served as Managing Editor of Katoikos.world, a FOGGS’ digital community-building project.

Previously, he held positions within the European federalist movement with JEF Greece (2012-2017) and a Brussels-based non-profit civil society hub, European Demos (2014-2016) aiming at enabling citizens’ participation in the debate about the future of Europe, globalisation and democracy.

Dominikos has studied Social Policy at the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), Greece and European Integration and Development at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium.
