Daryl Swanepoel’s career has spanned the corporate, political and academic sectors. He has worked at management level in the financial sector, has served as a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, Member of Parliament, and has held numerous high-level party political positions. He serves on the Curriculum Innovation Design and Development Committee and Senate of the Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology, is an advisor to the Tianyuan University and is a Director of the Institute of Accounting and Commerce.

Daryl holds a National Diploma in Company Administration from the University of Johannesburg and B Hons (cum laude) and Masters degrees from the University of Stellenbosch. An accountant by profession, he is a member of a number of professional bodies, such as the Institute of Directors, Institute of Accounting and Commerce, Institute of Financial Accountants.
